Our Verdict

Montane’s Dart Zip T-Shirt has the look of an everyday top but with the functionality of a great baselayer. It’s price point is definitely eye catching – in a good way of course. It’s one of our cheapest baselayers yet it’s technical fabric offers the comfort you usually only receive from a more expensive top.

It’s constructed using light, wicking Apex Eco fabric with a super wicking pique textured backer. The face fabric has a slight marble effect look to it which is quite nice. The fabric has been treated with Polygiene permanent odour control meaning it can be worn on multiple days without the need for washing every time. Plus it has a UPF protection of 40+!

This soft feeling technical t-shirt offers flatlocked sewn seams, a low profile collar and a relaxed fit that’s ideal for year round use.
